Is a powerful computer required to run game emulators?

Time-saving features like clear directory management, integrated save states, and auto-mapping controls are extremely beneficial. I then take usability into account. I wanted to know if these controllers are rechargeable or if they require batteries because my previous two controllers ran on AA batteries. Is it possible to play multiplayer games without two controllers? However, I can't find anything on Microsoft's website. Is there a difference between the PS4 1.0 and 2? Does anyone know if it's compatible or have a link? This appears to be the closest thing to a DS4 controller that works with a DS3 controller; it's also red.
